Hyatt Centric South Beach is seeking a dedicated Houseman to support the housekeeping team in maintaining spotless public areas and a welcoming guest environment in our Miami Beach hotel.

You will assist with linens, supplies, guest requests, and light maintenance, coordinate with departments, and help with event setups, ensuring safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and moving items.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, lobbies, and other public areas of the hotel to maintain a clean and attractive environment.
• Assist housekeeping staff by collecting and distributing linens, amenities, and other supplies as needed.
• Address guest requests promptly and efficiently, including delivery of additional towels, bedding, and other necessities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and ensure adequate stock of housekeeping supplies.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks and report any repair needs or safety hazards to the relevant department.
• Support event setups and breakdowns, including arranging furniture and handling equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the hotel premises.
• Collaborate effectively with all hotel departments to provide seamless service to guests.
