Job summary

Encore Hospitality is seeking a Houseperson to support the housekeeping department in maintaining clean guest rooms and public areas. You will assist room attendants, restock supplies, and help with room setups for special requests and VIPs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (preferred) and are able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. The role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth within the housekeeping team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or custodial work is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas like lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and meeting spaces.
• Assist room attendants by delivering linens, towels, amenities, and supplies.
• Stock housekeeping carts, closets, and supply rooms to ensure adequate inventory.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety hazards and ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
