Job summary

Homewood Suites Worcester is seeking a hands-on Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel public areas and guest spaces while providing friendly, timely service.

You will support room attendants, restock housekeeping stations, deliver items to guest rooms, and assist with meeting function room setups, while handling trash, and keeping storage areas organized. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hotel housekeeping awareness
• Able to work with guest-facing duties
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend and stoop
• Able to climb ladders
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Availability on weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of public areas and lobby.
• Deep cleaning assigned areas.
• Set up and maintain lobby functions including coffee and water service.
• Clean and set up meeting and function rooms.
• Assist with delivery and restocking housekeeping stations.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables throughout the property.
• Support room attendants by supplying clean linens, towels, and guest supplies as needed.
• Support room attendants by stripping linens and removing trash from guest rooms as needed.
• Maintain equipment and storage areas in an organized manner.
• Deliver service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, outdoor area, and parking lots.
• Deep cleaning of assigned areas.
• Setting up and maintaining the complimentary hotel lobby functions including coffee service and water service.
• Cleaning and setting up meeting functions rooms.
• Assist with the delivery and restocking housekeeping stations.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables throughout the property, including outdoor spaces and parking lot.
• Support room attendants by supplying clean linens, towels, and guest supplies as needed.
