Job summary

Holiday Inn Club Vacations in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a dedicated housekeeping staff member to perform cleaning and servicing of all accommodation units and buildings, including windows, entrances, and hallways. You will stock supplies, assist with special projects, and ensure guest areas are clean and welcoming.

The role requires walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, and delivering items to housekeepers and guests; a high school diploma or GED is preferred and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Detail cleaning of all exterior windows, entrances, doors, railings, vending areas, elevators, lights, walkways, stairways and hallways.
• Clean and restock common restrooms.
• Trash removal from all common areas.
• Clean pool areas and arrange pool chairs.
• Collect soiled linens and deliver to dirty linen bins.
• Deliver houseware items to housekeepers and guests.
• Strip beds and prepare carts for housekeepers.
• Keep housekeeping supply closets spotless and stocked.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

This position will be responsible for performing and servicing all accommodation units and buildings to include exterior windows, doors, lights, walkways, hallways, stairways, railings, elevators and vending areas. This position will perform thorough cleaning of all common areas, trash removal, straightening and cleaning of pool chairs and restocking of supplies to restrooms to the standards set forth by the resort. Stock and distribute all freight and inventory items. This individual will assist the department with special projects as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

• Detail cleaning of all exterior building windows, entrances, doors, railings, vending areas, elevators, lights, walkways, stairways and hallways.
• Perform cleaning, sanitizing and stocking of common restrooms.
• Trash removal of all common trash receptacles and bag replacement.
• Perform cleaning of pool areas to include straightening of pool chairs and picking up trash around pool decks.
• Pick up soiled linens outside each unit and take to dirty linen bin in each building.
• Deliver houseware items to housekeepers and guests.
• Stripping beds and preparing carts for housekeepers.
• Ensures that housekeeping supply closets are spotless and continually restocked.
• Must be able to bend, lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 75 pounds, as necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma, GED preferred

Qualifications

• Must meet company required motor vehicle policy standards.
• Must have an active driver's license with at least a year of driving experience.
• Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks as described above
• Ability to be self-directed.
