Job summary

SILVERTON HOTEL & CASINO is seeking a motivated Housekeeping Attendant to support daily cleaning operations and assist Guest Room Attendants in maintaining 16 rooms efficiently. You will follow hotel policies, ensure guest rooms are clean and well-stocked, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old, with preferred experience in housekeeping and a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guest Room Attendants to clean a minimum of 16 rooms in allotted time.
• Clean and maintain rooms and public areas, including vacuuming, dusting, washing surfaces.
• Restock bathroom supplies and replace items as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and lost and found items promptly.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

General Summary of Job Duties:Assist Guest Room Attendants so they may perform their daily cleaning of a minimum of sixteen (16) Guest Rooms in theallotted amount of time.Principle Responsibilities and Duties:Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.Sorts, counts, folds linen deliveries.Empties linens and trash from Housekeeper carts and places in the appropriate areas.Replenish and/or replace supplies such as linens, drinking glasses, writing supplies, casino information flyers, menu and matches.Renders assistance to Guests.Moves furniture and rolls carpets.Vacuums/carpets, repair drapes in guest rooms and public access hallways.Dusts and/or cleans items located in the elevator lobby on each floor of the hotel.Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.Washes windows, door panels, and sills.Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.Restocks and replenishes bathroom supplies including but not limited to toilet paper, Kleenex, soap, shampoo and lotion.Helps to insure all items in room are in working order including but not limited to the television, lights, air conditioning unit, telephone, alarm clock, drapes and curtains and the luggage rack.Stocks linens and keeps area around housekeeping clean.Performs the duties of a Housekeeper as needed.Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.Immediately turns found items into Lost & Found.Maintains control of assigned rooms card key.Reports any and all maintenance issues.Other duties as assigned.General Job Responsibilities and Duties:Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton Be Amazing Service Standards.Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.Regular attendance on all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.Other duties as assigned.To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following Silverton Values:Character: Always do the right thing and treat everyone with dignity and respectCollaboration: Celebrate Diverse ideas, thought and talents.Care: Be KIND to yourself and each other.Fun: Our guests are here to have FUN, so we should have FUN, too.Excellence: Be Amazing!Skills, Education and Other Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older.Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping or similar, preferred.Must be able to work in a Team centered environment.High School diploma or GED, preferred.Required Work Cards:Identification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United StatesMachinery, Work Equipment, Programs, Software, Hardware Used:Linen CartHousekeeping CartCleaning chemicalsVacuum
