Job summary

Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach is seeking a full-time, first-shift housekeeping assistant to support room attendants and keep guest rooms, restrooms and public areas clean. Compensation is $16.00 per hour with a year-round schedule and holidays required.

You'll greet guests, handle trash disposal, stock supplies, and report maintenance needs while enjoying benefits such as PTO, health plans, 401(k) matching, life insurance, parental leave, educational assistance, free lunch, and a team travel

Responsibilities

• Assist the Room Attendants in areas including, but not limited to, guest rooms, restrooms, public areas, and conference rooms.
• Perform tasks including, but not limited to, polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, and removing and disposing of trash.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
• Greet all guests in a polite and welcoming manner.

Job description

The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. This is a full-time, year-round position working at the Royal Palms Resort. This position is for 1st shift. Open schedule is required, including holidays and weekends.
