Job summary

Hyatt House Anchorage, proudly managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, is seeking a Houseperson to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort. You will restock supplies, service public areas, and assist housekeeping while upholding hotel standards in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to exceptional service in a Marriott/Hilton/IHG-branded property network through NSH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to obtain required permits/licenses as needed.
• Up to 40 hours per week with varied shifts, including nights/weekends.

Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of assigned hotel areas to support a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for guests and team members. The Houseperson performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including restocking supplies, servicing public areas, assisting housekeeping operations, and ensuring all assigned spaces meet hotel standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and efficiency throughout the hotel.

Qualifications: Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to obtain any government-required or brand-required permits, licenses, or certificates. Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
