Job summary

Northwest x Southern Hospitality's Hyatt House Anchorage location is seeking a Room Attendant/Housekeeper to help maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and meet high standards of hygiene and guest service.

The role involves making beds, replenishing supplies, sanitizing bathrooms, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting a fast-paced, team-driven environment with flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hotel, restaurant or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain permits or certificates as required.
• Up to 40 hours per week with flexible shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Summary:

This position is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for hotel guests. The Room Attendant performs daily housekeeping duties, including making beds, replenishing supplies, sanitizing rooms and bathrooms, reporting maintenance needs, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to obtain any government‑required or brand-required permits, licenses, or certificates. Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
