Job summary

Leisure Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Houseperson to support housekeeping operations in a hotel setting. You will assist the Laundry Attendant, replace soiled linen with clean linen, stock storage rooms, and assist with cleaning guest rooms as assigned by the supervisor.

The role requires prior hotel housekeeping experience and the ability to read, write, and speak English. Work is part-time with responsibilities that include safety compliance and general upkeep of guest areas.

Duties/Tasks

• Remove dirty linen from Room attendants’ carts and replace it with clean linen.
• Stock all storage rooms with supplies.
• Cleans guest rooms when assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager (vacuuming corridors, cleaning public areas, employee restrooms, washing windows, checking rooms, etc.).
• Maintain security for guests and property by following all security and safety regulations (e.g., clean work area, remove all linen from dryers, turn off dryers at the end of the day, do not smoke while on duty, etc.).

Education

The ability to read, write and speak English.

Experience

Previous hotel‑related housekeeping experience.

Physical Requirements

While performing this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands to finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 15 pounds); talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
