Are you seeking a meaningful way to serve youth in need? Goshen New Beginnings, our independent living program for eighteen to twenty-one-year-old young adults, is looking for a/an Houseparent(s). This could be a working, married couple, or single houseparent for this particular role. Goshen Valley offers a unique opportunity to live and work in a supportive, faith-driven community. As a Houseparent, you’ll create a nurturing home environment, mentor youth through their healing journey, and help them build a foundation for a hopeful future.
As the Houseparent(s) you could be filling in as Respite or Primary Houseparent(s) as needed. As a Houseparent you will be responsible for providing oversight of the home and the residents, managing the home, carrying out the structure in the home, cooking, cleaning, administering medication, transporting, supervising, and addressing behavioral issues as they arise. When not needed in this capacity, you will provide program support as needed.
