Job summary

Still Waters Lakefront Resort is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to help ensure a memorable guest stay at our lakefront property. You will prepare guest rooms, deliver clean linens, fulfill guest requests, and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the resort.

This full-time role runs 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including weekends, with opportunities for growth within our family-owned property.

Responsibilities

• Preparing guest rooms for cleaning by stripping beds and removing used linens.
• Delivering fresh, clean linens to the housekeeping staff.
• Fulfilling guest requests and completing runs for both guests and housekeeping, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the resort.

About the Role:

As a vital part of our housekeeping team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a truly outstanding stay. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing guest rooms for cleaning by stripping beds and removing used linens.
• Delivering fresh, clean linens to the housekeeping staff.
• Fulfilling guest requests and completing "runs" for both guests and housekeeping, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the resort.

What We're Looking For:

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
• A genuine passion for providing top-notch guest service.
• The ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting (50-60 lbs), pushing, bending, stooping, kneeling, pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs. Comfort working in varying temperatures (both heat and cold) is also important. The role requires standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills (hearing, speaking, and writing).
• A positive attitude and a team-player mentality.

Schedule:

This is a full-time, year-round position with a main shift of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including weekends.
