Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Tallahassee I-10 E is seeking a Houseman/Maintenance Worker to support the housekeeping team. You will handle housekeeping support, public area cleaning, event setup, guest deliveries and minor maintenance.

Ideal candidates have hotel experience, are skilled with hand and power tools, and can work with the housekeeping team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Guest Deliveries: Provide pillows, blankets, or amenities to guest rooms on request.

You will do housekeeping support, Public area cleaning, event setup, Guest delivery & minor maintenance. To do well in this role, you should have previous experience in a hotel, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to work with the housekeeping team.

Houseman Worker Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping Support: Stripping dirty linens, hauling heavy trash, and restocking carts with fresh towels, sheets, and toiletries for room attendants.
• Public Area Cleaning: Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting high-traffic zones like lobbies, hallways, elevators, and public restrooms.
• Event and Room Setup: Setting up, rearranging, and breaking down tables, chairs, and equipment for conference rooms and banquet spaces.
• Guest Deliveries: Bringing extra pillows, blankets, rollaway beds, or room amenities directly to guest rooms upon request.
• Minor Maintenance: Fixing basic issues like changing light bulbs, clearing debris, or reporting larger repairs to the maintenance department
