Job summary

Ideal Hospitality in Wilmington, NC is seeking a dependable Houseman to help keep our hotel clean, organized, and running smoothly while supporting guests and the housekeeping team. Responsibilities include cleaning public areas, assisting guests with requests, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance or safety concerns, and coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry supplies or equipment as needed.
• Flexible and able to handle a variety of tasks throughout the shift.
• Previous hotel or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Keep common areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Assist guests with requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support the housekeeping team with restocking, moving items, and special projects.

• Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Follow hotel safety and cleanliness standards.
• Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
