RAM Hotels in Columbus, GA is seeking a friendly Houseman to keep public areas clean and welcome guests with warm hospitality. You will help maintain the lobby, entrance, restrooms, breakfast area, elevators, pool, hallways, gym, and meeting rooms to ensure a consistently outstanding guest experience.

The role requires teamwork, dependable work ethic, and strong customer service, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality or janitorial experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Offer professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests; anticipate guests needs and answer questions about the visit; respond promptly; be familiar with property location, amenities, and local attractions; resolve guests’ complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete brand-specific training and health and safety training; adhere to property standards; know fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Clean common areas per hotel standards (doors, floors, tables, walls, elevators, pool areas, fitness center, break rooms).
• Follow lost and found policy; report items to management promptly.
• Perform other tasks as necessary to meet or exceed guest satisfaction.

JOB SUMMARY

The housemanperforms routine duties of cleaning common areas of the hotel including the frontentrance, lobby, public restrooms, breakfast area, elevators, pool, guesthallways, fitness center, employee break room and bathroom and all meetingrooms.The houseman promotes a positive imageof the hotelestablishment to guests and enjoys assisting our guests with such a pleasantand friendly temperament. JOBRESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and attentiveservice to guests; anticipate guests needs and answer questions that theguests may have pertaining to their visit with us; respond promptly; befamiliar with property location, property amenities, as well as localattractions and activities to answer guests’ inquiries; resolve guests’complaints to ensure guests satisfaction
• Complete all required brand specific training as directed bymanagement; complete all required health and safety training; adhere toall property specific brand standards; knowledge of fire alarm andevacuation procedures
• Clean common areas, per hotel standards and training,including but not limited to glass doors, floors, shelves, tables, dishes,walls, elevators, pool areas, fitness center, break rooms, etc.
• Familiar with the lost and found policy of the hotel; takeresponsibility in submitting any lost or found items on the propertyimmediately to management – this includes any item left behind such as apurse, wallet, jewelry, etc.
• Perform other tasks asnecessary or required to meet or exceed guest satisfaction

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• High-school graduate or equivalent anda minimum of six months work-related experience (hospitality or janitorialexperience - strongly preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills

INDUSTRYEXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in the hospitalityindustry (preferred)
• Previous experience as ahousekeeper/room attendant or janitorial services (preferred)
