Job summary

Housekeeping-and-Hotel-Management-Group is seeking a Houseman in a Charlotte area property. The role supports guest experience by stocking carts, maintaining public areas, and assisting with housekeeping tasks during shifts.

Job description

Individuals well suited for the Houseman position will be able to follow detailed instructions but will also prove to be a self-starter, they understand that their role in the property is fundamental to create the best experience for the guest. Not only do they work behind the court in stocking housekeeping carts and closets but the houseman will also perform duties to ensure that all public areas, including lounge, restrooms, entranceway, conference and boardrooms, hallway and other areas are cleaned during their shift. Supervisors can rely on our houseman to perform other duties as needed or assigned, with the confidence that our trustworthy houseman will be responsible with the use of keys, equipment and will maintain compliance with company policies, practices, procedures, and safety standards. Depending upon occupancy level, our houseman may be required to assist in the laundry, clean rooms or complete special projects assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
