Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Maris Grove community in Glen Mills, PA, seeks a Housekeeping Utility Team Leader to guide housekeeping staff and uphold safety and cleanliness standards. The role supports residents and works within approved policies to maintain a pristine environment.

Schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 pm–8:30 pm. Compensation starts at $17/hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within our expanding communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year previous experience in floor care and floor finishing techniques.
• Previous leadership role experience (preferred).
• Minimum of three years of verifiable driving experience and clean driving record per policy.
• Proficiency with computers (preferred).
• Ability to operate carpet and hard floor care equipment and related cleaning machinery.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the community with specialized equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and use work orders for room/furniture setups.
• Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects and packages.
• Move and arrange furniture in common areas and resident apartments.
• Drive housekeeping vehicles for trash collection and bulk item delivery.
• Schedule and supervise daily work assignments.
• Inspect areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.

Location: Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Housekeeping Utility Team Leader who provides leadership, direction, and support to the housekeeping staff. The Team Leader is responsible for working in accordance with approved policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm-8:30pm

Compensation: Starts at $17.00 an hour.

How you will make an impact

• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment

• Inspecting assigned areas and equipment to ensure that cleanliness and safety standards are maintained

What you will need

• Minimum of 1-year previous experience in floor care and floor finishing techniques.
• Previous experience in a leadership role (preferred)
• Minimum of three years of verifiable licensed driving experience and a history of safe driving as noted through a 3 year motor vehicle record check (per GS7009 Driving Record Standards Policy)
• Proficiency working with computers (preferred)
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community
• Must have excellent; customer service, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations
