Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a Laundry/Housekeeping Support Associate to collect soiled linens, transport them to the laundry, rotate mattresses during deep cleaning, and weigh and record linen bin levels.

You will stock guest amenities, deliver laundry to back landing storage rooms on each hotel floor, restock mobile carts, report equipment repairs, manage trash and recycling, and maintain a clean work area. Standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs are required; shifts vary.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of inventory control and reporting discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Collects soiled linen for laundering and transports it to the loading dock.
• Flips and rotates mattresses during deep cleaning process.
• Weighs and keeps records on clean and soiled linen bins.
• Loads and unloads linen bins from the truck at the loading dock.
• Maintains and stocks inventory of guest amenities in storage areas and laundry room.
• Delivers laundry to back landing storage rooms on each hotel floor.
• Restocks, organizes and maintains supplies for housekeeping mobile carts.
• Maintains cleanliness and reports needed repairs for equipment and storage tools.
• Separates recycling materials to current standards and procedures.
