Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collect trash, linen and bio-hazardous waste throughout the hospital.
• Vacuum all carpeted corridors and mop hard floor corridors.
• Clean entrances and perform dust mopping of hallways.
• Escort visitors to area they are going and assist as needed.
• Perform EVS Patient Associate duties as assigned.

Definitions

To perform daily assigned tasks, that could include collecting trash, linen and bio-hazardous waste throughout the hospital, vacuuming all carpeted corridors, cleaning entrances, project work that is assigned, dust mopping hallways, and mopping hard floor corridors. May be asked to perform EVS Patient Associate duties. Always be aware of surroundings, stop and ask if visitors appear lost or confused. Escort visitors to area they are going.
