Job summary

Central Arkansas Library System is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Technician in Little Rock, AR. The role includes cleaning restrooms, floors, glass, and furniture, with duties such as trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting.

HOUSEKEEPING TECHNICIAN – Central Arkansas Library System seeks a full-time 40-hour per week Housekeeping Technician to perform the upkeep and cleaning at CALS facilities. Essential duties include cleaning restrooms, floors, glass, furniture, emptying trash cans, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, and other duties as assigned. Some experience required, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have a positive attitude. Must have and maintain a valid AR driver’s license. Interested applicants must be able to work Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:00pm or 7:00am-3:00pm, and some weekend hours are required. Must be available to work some Saturdays from 5:00am-1:00pm. Starting rate of pay $15.00/hour and includes excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision, company paid retirement, life insurance, paid time off, paid parental leave, and holiday pay.
