Cedar Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Clemmons, NC is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, sanitizing spaces, and assisting with laundry as needed. Must be able to work weekends and demonstrate attention to detail and teamwork in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively.
• Positive, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust mop, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash.
• Follow established cleaning and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping carts.
• Properly use, clean, and store housekeeping equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Notify the supervisor when cleaning supplies are running low.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Maintain accurate logs of completed cleaning assignments.
• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
• Report any concerns regarding resident conditions or safety to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all facility safety and infection-prevention guidelines.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
