Gold's Gym in Highland Meadows is seeking a Housekeeping Team Member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for members. You will perform cleaning tasks across gym floor, locker rooms, and common areas, ensuring equipment and spaces are well maintained and orderly.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, bathrooms, and floors, restocking supplies, and collaborating with staff to support the member experience.

Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning & Maintenance: Clean outside glass, wipe down equipment, sweep/mop floors, clean carpets and hard-surface floors, sanitize fitness equipment, clean bathrooms, dust furniture, mop lobby floors.
• Locker Room Responsibilities: Sweep/mop, remove trash, sanitize restrooms & locker rooms, refill soap and towels, maintain tidiness.
• Equipment & Supply Maintenance: Clean and organize cleaning tools, store equipment properly, maintain vacuum bags, stock linen carts.
• Other Duties: Pick up debris, report issues, collaborate with gym staff and management.

Job Description

The Housekeeping Associate is an essential member of the Gold's Gym team. They ensure that all areas of the facility—including gym floor, locker rooms, offices, and common spaces-are consistently clean, safe, and welcoming for members. The role includes performing a variety of cleaning duties, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting the overall member experience.

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean outside glass and interior mirrors.
• Wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases.
• Clean carpets and hard-surface floors as needed.
• Clean fitness equipment thoroughly.
• Clean bathrooms, including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures daily.
• Mop and sweep lobby floors.

Locker Room Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & locker rooms.
• Showers and floors
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper.
• Clean out lint and maintain general tidiness.
• Buff locker/lobby room floors as needed.

Equipment & Supply Maintenance

• Clean Maintain and organize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners.
• Ensure equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly.
• Clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily.
• Stock carts with linens and supplies, keeping them organized according to training guidelines.

Other Duties

• Pick up debris on carpets and perform vacuuming as needed.
• Report maintenance or repair issues accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate professionally with gym staff and management.
