Mary Lanning Healthcare seeks a temporary Surgical Environmental Technician to perform cleaning and terminalization in perioperative spaces, including outpatient cubicles, surgical and endoscopy suites, cesarean section areas and recovery rooms. Duties cover adjacent areas under the AORN guidelines.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma (preferred) and adherence to Mary Lanning values, with training per perioperative sanitation standards in a hospital setting.

Job Description:*Temporary position, Monday through Friday. Rotating call weekends.*The Surgical Environmental Technician is responsible for working under general supervision in the cleaning and terminalization of the out-patient cubicles, surgical suites, endoscopy suites, cesarean section suite and recovery room areas. Other areas include but are not limited to: offices, locker rooms, lounges, conference rooms, hallways, and any other place in the perioperative arena according to strict standards of sanitation. These staff members are trained according to the Association of Peri-Opertive Registered Nurses, AORN, standards and recommendations for environmental sanitation in the perioperative setting.
