Ideal candidate has at least two years in a housekeeping leadership role, with strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in a leadership housekeeping position.
• High School education required; post-secondary preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned suites and public areas for cleanliness and repair.
• Ensure staff have supplies, equipment, and uniforms including nametags, gloves and goggles.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce them; investigate accidents.
• Perform housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Update status of discrepant rooms during shift and monitor cleanliness.
• Open and close shifts; notify management of maintenance needs.
• Oversee hotel cleanliness of public areas and exterior entrances.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required; be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
