Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts in Basalt, CO seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain clean guest rooms and lead the housekeeping team. You will direct staff, ensure safety, and maintain high guest satisfaction across all areas of the property.

The role requires coordinating with other departments, training team members, and upholding health and sanitation standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or move materials up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise, train, and coach housekeeping staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; provide open communication, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff as appropriate.
• Supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas; ensure health/sanitation standards and guest satisfaction.
• Assign duties to staff to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
• Provide supplies to staff and manage inventory while controlling expenses.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Log items and manage Lost and Found inquiries.
• Implement emergency training and procedures.
