Job summary

Equity Lifestyle Properties is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Gettysburg, PA. You will supervise housekeeping staff, interview and train new hires, and ensure the property’s cleanliness meets our standards. The role collaborates with the Property Manager and HR on disciplinary actions and overall quality control.

Responsibilities include managing cleaning duties, inventory, and safety, while assisting with guest inquiries and maintenance coordination. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of housekeeping experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure cleanliness and appearance meet company standards.
• Interview candidates, train new employees, and conduct performance reviews; work with Property Manager and HR on disciplinary actions.
• Clean internal locations, mop, dust, vacuum, and remove trash per schedule.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Report maintenance concerns to Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist Property Manager with customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with clean-up after property activities and events.
• Drive to pick up supplies and run errands as needed.
