Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Phoenix is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our community housekeeping program, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and comfort for residents and guests.

You will develop schedules, communicate changes, conduct daily inspections, coordinate move-in ready cleaning, train staff, and hire and supervise the housekeeping team, all while maintaining high standards and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years housekeeping experience required.
• 1 year supervisory/management experience in housekeeping or environmental services.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team.
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to residents and/or family members.
• Conduct daily inspections of the interior, addressing deficiencies to ensure safety.
• Coordinate cleaning of rent-ready and move-in-ready apartments.
• Train new and existing staff in policies and procedures.
• Hire and supervise the housekeeping team.

Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the community housekeeping programs to ensure that areas of the community are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner for our residents and guests.

Schedule

Full Time, Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to the residents and/or family members
• Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, immediately addressing any deficiencies ensuring the safety of the community
• Coordinate cleaning of rent ready and move in ready apartments
• Train new and existing staff in community and state required policies and procedures
• Responsible for hiring and supervising the housekeeping team

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of housekeeping experience required
• 1 year in a supervisory or management position in housekeeping or environmental services
