Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Henry Ford Rochester EVS in Rochester, MI. This role oversees cleaning of rooms and common areas and ensures safety and sanitation standards are met.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules with flexible days; 2nd shifts may be required. Previous customer service experience is required, and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Must be able to work full-time or part-time; 2nd shift availability.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the cleaning of rooms and common areas.
• Directs sanitation and safety of the facility and associates.
• Assigns cleaning tasks and priorities; adjusts to occupancy or emergencies.
• Maintains accurate records of assignments.
• Ensures security of keys.
• Responds to customer needs and resolves concerns.
• Follows procedures to ensure timely, efficient service and communicates completion.
• Inspects rooms, common areas and stock rooms; evaluates staff performance.
• Reports unsafe conditions and maintenance needs.
• Oversees productivity and breaks; communicates performance issues to management.
• Participates in onboarding and training of associates; conducts daily pre-service meetings.
• Demonstrates safe use of environmental services equipment and chemicals.
• Manages inventory of materials, supplies and linens and aligns usage with budget.
• Opens and closes the department; maintains security of property and funds.
• Communicates with clients, other departments and coworkers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
