Job summary

Wythe County Community Hospital is seeking an EVS Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team, ensure hospital-wide cleanliness, and uphold safety standards. Evening/Night shifts available with a wage of $17/hour. You will support leadership, manage supplies, and help with payroll duties as needed.

The role requires strong English communication, teamwork, and a neat, uniform appearance. Prior supervisory or housekeeping experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth within HHS.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and in uniform.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Experience as a supervisor preferred.
• Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team members and assign cleaning duties to ensure coverage of all areas.
• Perform daily inspections and maintain quality control programs.
• Manage supplies and ensure team members have the equipment to complete tasks.
• Assist with payroll and administrative duties as assigned.
• Assist with cleaning areas of the hospital to ensure full coverage.
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and provide friendly service to all individuals.
