Job summary

World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations across mobile units, cabins, and all common areas. You will train and coach team members, schedule workloads, manage supplies, and coordinate closely with Guest Services to satisfy guest requests.

Strong leadership, communication, and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this hospitality-focused role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning experience required.
• Experience leading a team essential.
• Excellent guest service and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect housekeeping areas and common spaces daily.
• Train and coach housekeeping staff.
• Schedule team and workload according to occupancy.
• Coordinate with Guest Services to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.

Job description

• Inspects Home Away from Home Mobile units, Cabins, and common areas daily to ensure adherence to established cleanliness standards and proper amenity and literature placement.


• Inspects for needed repairs, reports maintenance problems immediately and follows up to ensure completion.


• Trains and coaches housekeeping team members.


• Schedules team and work according to productivity standards and forecasted occupancy.


• Ensures that team members have sufficient supplies through regular supply and linen inventories; orders and receives supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels.


• Coordinates and works hand in hand with Guest Services daily to ensure special guest requests are met.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a weight of 50lbs


• Must be able to work walking and or standing continuously for a period of 8 hours

• Team member is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers to handle or feel


• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision
