Job summary

Founders Inn & Spa, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, seeks a dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the Rooms team. You will supervise Room Attendants, ensure room cleanliness and timely release, and coach staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of hotel housekeeping and prior supervisory experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• At least one year of hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and provide clear direction to team members.
• Ability to read and write English sufficiently to complete job-related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, motivate, and coach Room Attendants and Housepersons throughout the shift.
• Inspect completed guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Release inspected rooms promptly so they are available for arriving guests.
• Work closely with Room Attendants to identify and correct discrepancies before rooms are released.
• Train and coach employees on proper cleaning procedures, quality expectations, safety practices, and service standards.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and hospitality-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Rooms team.

In this role, you will help lead and support our Housekeeping team while ensuring guest rooms consistently meet our standards for cleanliness, quality, presentation, and timely availability. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys coaching others, takes pride in attention to detail, and understands how a clean, welcoming guest room contributes to an exceptional hotel experience.

What You'll Do

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise, support, motivate, and coach Room Attendants and Housepersons throughout the shift.
• Inspect completed guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently to ensure established cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Release inspected rooms promptly so they are available for arriving guests.
• Work closely with Room Attendants to identify and correct discrepancies before rooms are released. Monitor room assignments, special requests, room priorities, and daily operational needs.
• Remain visible and accessible to the Housekeeping team throughout the shift.
• Train and coach employees on proper cleaning procedures, quality expectations, safety practices, and service standards.
• Ensure housekeeping carts, closets, supplies, and work areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Identify and report maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and security concerns and follow through to ensure appropriate resolution.
• Communicate effectively with the Front Office and other hotel departments regarding room status and guest needs.
• Promote teamwork and a positive, professional work environment.
• Assist with daily Housekeeping operations and other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone who leads by example and understands that attention to detail, accountability, teamwork, and genuine hospitality matter.

Successful candidates should have:

• At least one year of hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or training experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to inspect rooms thoroughly while maintaining appropriate operational pace.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and provide clear direction to team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other hotel departments.
• A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to read and write English sufficiently to complete job-related documentation and follow instructions.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with hotel Housekeeping operations.

Schedule Requirements

This is a full-time hospitality position. Candidates must have the flexibility to work based on hotel occupancy and operational needs, including weekends and holidays.
