Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the UT Tyler Medical Education Building. Weekdays, afternoon/evening shifts, full-time position with pay range $16.00–$17.33 per hour.

You will supervise on-site housekeeping teams, coordinate activities across facilities, and ensure reliable, safe operations in client premises. Ideal candidates bring 1+ years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

• 1+ years of related housekeeping experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable; able to maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
• Must be able to perform duties at client premises.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site staff to coordinate housekeeping activities.
• Coordinate and support 3–10 employees during shifts.
• Ensure punctual attendance and reliability for scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties as required by client accounts.

What You’ll Do:

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You may work in any type of facilities location on client premises.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide supervision at the direction of management on site to coordinate activities of workers and/or service employees engaged in facilities operations or services at either larger complex facilities or locations in the areas of commercial, health care, schools, universities or other establishments.
• Coordinate and support, at the direction of management, key functions and between 3 and 10 employees during the normal course of business.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• 1 or more years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
