We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at a luxury property in the heart of Santa Monica. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and service areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness and quality standards. You will also ensure the department's adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and manage the housekeeping team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep.
• Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring cost-effective use while maintaining high standards.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures to optimize team efficiency and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and effective communication related to guest requests and special needs.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring exceptional service.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on department performance, including productivity, cost control, and inventory levels.
• Manage the scheduling of housekeeping staff to ensure appropriate coverage at all times.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
