Meyer Jabara Hotels is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor at Hilton Ocala in Florida. The 196-room property features six event rooms and an outdoor tented space, serving weddings, meetings, and events.

The supervisor will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure cleanliness and safety, and support scheduling, training, and guest satisfaction initiatives across the hotel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English (second language a plus).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeepers and housemen.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance concerns.
• Report repair needs promptly to maintenance or appropriate departments.
• Collaborate with front office and engineering regarding room availability and out-of-order status.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and supervision of housekeeping team members.
• Ensure adherence to brand and company cleanliness standards.
• Manage lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
• Assist with cleaning rooms or 'over' rooms when necessary.
• Support department operations and step into other roles as needed.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment throughout the hotel. This role plays a key part in maintaining high guest satisfaction standards and supporting team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeepers and housemen
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance concerns

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work performed throughout the hotel property
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Use of cleaning equipment such as carts, vacuums, mops, and cleaning chemicals
