Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor at Hilton Ocala to lead the daily housekeeping team, ensure room cleanliness, safety, and maintenance, and support high guest satisfaction across the hotel.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in housekeeping, prior supervision, and strong leadership, organizational and communication skills; the role involves training staff, coordinating with front desk and maintenance, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English (second language a plus).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeepers and housemen
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance concerns
• Report repair needs promptly to maintenance or appropriate departments
• Collaborate with front office and engineering regarding room availability and out-of-order status
• Assist with scheduling, training, and supervision of housekeeping team members
• Ensure adherence to brand and company cleanliness standards
• Manage lost and found items according to hotel procedures
• Assist with cleaning rooms or "over" rooms when necessary
• Support department operations and step into other roles as needed

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment throughout the hotel. This role plays a key part in maintaining high guest satisfaction standards and supporting team performance.

• Work performed throughout the hotel property
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
