Job Summary
The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Essential Functions
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Plan work schedules to ensure adequate service and coverage.
- Perform all employment actions and decisions for the Environmental Services Department.
- Inspect all work in progress completed by staff or outside contractors and maintains cleanliness checklists.
- Inspect and evaluate physical condition of all areas of the building, coordinating with the Maintenance Department for any needed repairs.
- Maintain all files and records consistent with the adequate functioning of the department.
- Performs regular inspections of resident areas and rooms for sanitation, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
- Ensure proper safety and security regarding Resident belongings and items. used in carrying out housekeeping and laundry functions.
- Ensure adequate supplies and placing necessary orders timely.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience managing a housekeeping staff preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both written and oral.

- Knowledge of environmental services.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations.
