Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Morgan Hill, CA, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team on site. You will interview candidates, train staff, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate with the Property Manager and HR on disciplinary actions.

You’ll supervise cleaning of internal areas and ensure common areas meet company standards, while coordinating supply inventories. Requirements include 3+ years in housekeeping and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of housekeeping experience.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Interview candidates and train new employees.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Make disciplinary actions and termination recommendations with the Property Manager and HR.
• Clean internal locations on the property as directed (mopping, dusting, vacuuming, removing trash).
• Keep common areas clean and maintained to company standards.
• Monitor and report inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist the Property Manager with customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with clean-up after property activities and functions.
• Assist maintenance staff and other staff members as needed.
• Drive to pick up supplies and run errands as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Interview candidates and train new employees

• Clean internal locations on the property as directed, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming and removing trash

• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor as appropriate

Experience & skills you’ll need:

• High school diploma, or the equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a housekeeping role

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of BC, CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT and WA is: Hourly: $20.00 - $20.00 The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
