Job summary

Hyatt Regency Louisville is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a busy team and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet Hyatt standards of cleanliness. You will guide room attendants, manage daily operations, and step in for the Housekeeping Manager as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, organization, and staying on top of safety and cleanliness across all facilities. A background in hotel housekeeping and supervisory experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is a plus.
• 2-3 years of hotel or related supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations with inspections and reports.
• Lead and train Room Attendants and House Attendants with clear communication.
• Manage safety with lost‑and‑found, key control, and access to sensitive areas.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Boss

Oversee daily housekeeping operations with precision—inspections, reports, and productivity checks are your jam. You make sure everything runs smoothly and up to standard.

Team Captain

Lead and inspire Room Attendants and House Attendants with clear communication, hands‑on training, and a positive vibe that keeps the team motivated and on point.

Safety & Security Pro

Handle lost‑and‑found items with care, maintain key control, and manage access to sensitive areas like master keys, storage rooms, and secure files—all while keeping safety top of mind.

Cleanliness Champion

Set the bar high for sanitation and cleanliness across all facilities and equipment. You’re the reason everything looks fresh, feels safe, and exceeds expectations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework in a related field is a plus.


• 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field is required.


• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
