Sonesta International Hotels in Los Angeles is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, oversee guest rooms, public spaces, and areas to uphold the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. Responsibilities

• Support daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, suites, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Supervise and coach housekeeping team members to maintain cleanliness and guest service standards.
• Inspect rooms and spaces to ensure brand standards and cleanliness expectations are met.
• Monitor room readiness, productivity, and guest satisfaction across shifts.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and leadership to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, and operational communication for housekeeping staff.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, OSHA, chemical handling, safety policies, and guidelines.

What you'll be doing

• Support daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, suites, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Supervise, support, and guide housekeeping team members to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and guest service standards are consistently maintained .
• Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and operational areas to ensure hotel brand standards and cleanliness expectations are met.
• Monitor room readiness, housekeeping productivity, operational flow, and guest satisfaction throughout shifts.
• Respond quickly and professionally to guest requests, operational concerns, and service recovery situations.
• Partner closely with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and hotel leadership teams to support seamless hotel operations and guest experiences.
• Assist with onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and operational communication for housekeeping team members.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards, OSHA regulations, chemical handling procedures, hotel safety policies, and operational guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping closets, storage areas, supplies, linens, and operational equipment in clean and organized condition .
• Support VIP arrivals, group business, deep cleaning projects, room inspections, and special operational assignments as needed.
• Help foster a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused environment aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What great looks like

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, cleaning, laundry, or facilities experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within hospitality or housekeeping operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, room inspection standards, cleaning procedures, and hospitality service expectations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, OSHA regulations, chemical handling standards, and hotel safety guidelines preferred.
• Positive, dependable, and service-focused leadership approach.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call support as needed.
• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, operational excellence, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

Pay ranges from $26.50 to $29.45. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and job-specific experience/overall experience.
