Appellation Lodi – Wine & Roses Resort and Spa in Lodi, California, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, coach team members, and uphold luxury hospitality standards. You will supervise in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, maintain brand presentation, and ensure safety and policy compliance.

Previous hotel or resort housekeeping experience and strong organizational, communication, and training skills are required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll support the Executive Housekeeper by leading daily housekeeping operations, coaching and developing team members, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and genuine hospitality. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and a physical fitness test.

• Supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Lead, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members to deliver exceptional service and maintain luxury hospitality standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, employee areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with brand standards.
• Assist with scheduling, performance coaching, training, and onboarding of new housekeeping associates.
• Help recruit and interview new team members.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and service recovery opportunities.
• Oversee Lost & Found procedures and department documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, chemical handling procedures, and company policies.
• Identify maintenance issues and communicate repair needs to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and department records.
• Work alongside the housekeeping team by cleaning guest rooms and public areas as needed to support business demands.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment that reflects Appellation's values.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Walk and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
