Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team and uphold the resort’s high cleanliness standards. You will inspect rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure flawless presentation and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred.
• Minimum six months of supervisory experience or one year of relevant housekeeping experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and Property Management Systems.
• Ability to read and write basic English for completing reports and forms.
• Capable of providing clear direction, instruction, and guidance to team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and corridors for cleanliness and quality, updating room status as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and up to standard.
• Provide organization, guidance, and communication while reinforcing the resort’s high standards.
• Ensure housekeeping carts and linen closets are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Inspect VIP rooms and randomly check rooms for quality, reporting maintenance issues.
• Handle special guest requests and assist with deliveries, ensuring timely service.
• Maintain proper staffing levels and oversee the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
• Report any suspicious activity or hazardous conditions to Loss Prevention and respond to guest inquiries.

What will you be doing?
