Timber Ridge at Talus in Issaquah, WA, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the Environmental Services team and manage day-to-day operations. This role focuses on training, scheduling, and maintaining high cleanliness standards for a senior living environment.
The position requires previous supervisory experience in housekeeping within healthcare, retirement, or hotel settings, and a solid understanding of infection control practices. Hours are typically 8:00am–4:30pm, Mon–Fri.

General Summary:
In conjunction with the Director of Environmental Services, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services Department. The Housekeeping Supervisor is also responsible for training and supervising all housekeepers, ordering supplies, chemicals, and equipment, assisting with budget preparation, and operating within budgetary guidelines. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining excellent relations with the residents and promoting good departmental morale. Please note that due to the critical nature of this position, no more than two weeks of vacation can be taken at a time. To supervise employees, the hours for this position are from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position may be required to work evenings and weekends. Must be able to move throughout the building and grounds as needed throughout the day; must be able to lift to 30 lbs. Good visual and hearing acuity required; good verbal communication skills required. May be exposed to communicable diseases, and blood and body fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV. May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and offensive odors. Must be able to see, hear and effectively communicate with residents and staff.
