Job summary

Residence Inn Houston Westchase is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. You will ensure adherence to brand standards, train new staff, and handle guest requests with professionalism.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hotel housekeeping experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of cleaning procedures, safety, and chemical handling.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Hospitality coursework or certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment. Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred. Experience with housekeeping software or PMS systems (HotSOS, OnQ, Opera, etc.) a plus.
• Skills & Knowledge: Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations.
• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and compliance with brand standards.
• Assist with training new employees on cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ensure carts, closets, and supply rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Address guest requests and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
• Report maintenance concerns and ensure timely follow-up.
• Monitor productivity and assist with scheduling and labor management.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, assignments, and supply usage.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and company policies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
