Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Housekeeping Director to lead and supervise housekeeping operations across patient rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces. The role ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable environment in accordance with Cantex procedures.

The position involves direct housekeeping tasks, inventory and budget management, and recruitment/training of aides, with opportunities for career growth within a compassionate care-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory role preferred.
• Healthcare/long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise housekeeping activities at the facility.
• Establish a work log or checklist for daily/weekly tasks.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and equipment; monitor budget and spend-downs.
• Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping aides as needed.
• Schedule departmental hours and assignments; conduct annual evaluations.
