Shamin Hotels in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure cleanliness standards, assign tasks, inspect rooms, and train team members to deliver warm guest service.

You will schedule shifts, monitor public areas, enforce safety, handle incidents, and support maintenance while working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Grow with a hospitality-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and repair.
• Provide feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality.
• Ensure all associates have supplies, equipment, and uniforms including PPE.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce them consistently.
• Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent recurrence.
• Perform all housekeeping duties as needed (beds, vacuuming, cleaning).
• Open and close shifts and report discrepancies.
• Notify maintenance of repairs needed and monitor exterior cleanliness.

They assign tasks, inspect work to ensure it's up to standard, and provide training on how to best handle customers' requests.Essential Job Functions:Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.Inspects all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.Provide efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping departmentEnsure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms including nametags and designated PPE.Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards consistently.
