ADP is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Clearwater, FL to oversee environmental operations for the assigned account. You will liaise with clients and staff to promote a clean, efficient process and ensure timely completion of tasks.

The role requires supervisory experience, bilingual English/Spanish or Creole, and strong communication skills. You will guide housekeeping teams, schedule tasks, and comply with OSHA/EPA regulations while maintaining safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Directly assign client requests to personnel and ensure timely completion daily.
• Supervise cleaning staff to maintain a clean environment.
• Assign duties and inspect conformance to cleanliness standards.
• Handle cleaning solvents and comply with OSHA, EPA, State Health Department regulations.
• Plan work schedules for major tasks.
• Issue supplies and equipment to workers.
• Investigate complaints and take corrective action.
• Conduct in-service training on company policies and procedures.
• Attend training seminars to improve supervisory skills.
• Record data on assignments, personnel actions, and timecards.
• Attend periodic staff meetings with department heads to discuss policies and patron complaints.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Housekeeping Supervisor

NATURE OF WORK

The supervisor oversees the environmental operation directly responsible for promoting a clean and efficient process for the assigned account . Acts as a direct liaison between the client and staff .

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Directly responsibleto ensure the clients requests are assigned to personnel and completedin a timely mannerdaily
• Supervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure a clean environment
• Assigns workers their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
• Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc . Must comply withall regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
• Plans work schedule for major tasks.
• Issues supplies and equipment to workers.
• Investigates complaintsregardinghousekeeping service andequipment andtakes corrective action.
• Conducts in-service training of assigned employees to explain company policies, housekeeping work procedures, and todemonstrateuse and maintenance of equipment.
• Attends training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques andprocedures andenhance supervisory skills.
• Records data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, andtimecards, and prepares periodic reports.
• Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of at least 2 yearsprevioussupervisory experience
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, or Creole

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• This position demands good physical and mental health
• The housekeeper supervisor willbe requiredto lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and work a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to move continuously during work hours
• Must be able to lift and/or carry 30 to 45 pounds

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

• General supervision is received from an account manager who confers on difficult problems and reviews completed work for quality of professional results. Tasks are usually performed under little direct supervision allowing use of independent judgment

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

• Must supervise housekeepers and floor technicians.
