Job summary

Suncadia is seeking a Lodge Supervisor to guide daily housekeeping operations and ensure guest units meet the highest cleanliness and sanitation standards. You will lead the team, coordinate with leadership, inspect rooms, and respond to guest requests with professionalism.

The right candidate will have supervisory housekeeping experience, strong guest-service focus, and the stamina to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced resort environment, including evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations and support leadership.
  • Lead projects and coordinate with the housekeeping team.
  • Inspect units after cleaning for cleanliness and readiness.
  • Address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain safety and train staff on standards.
  • Update boards and reports for daily arrivals.

Overview

The HousekeepingLodgeSupervisor conducts cleaning and inspections of guest units and maximizes the efforts of the entire department to ensure compliance with all standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness,sanitation and productivityand efficiency set by the Resort. The Supervisor position is toultimately ensureSuncadia Guests enter a lodging unit that is clean, sanitary, and welcoming. EachLodgeSupervisorwill play a vital housekeeping role in ensuring all guests experience the naturalbeautycomfort and custom hand finished details that our guest rooms offer. They will work with business/department leadership and team members to ensure the effectiveness and overall success of the department.

Salary: $23/hr

Responsibilities
  • Support Housekeeping Leadership in the supervision of daily functions of the Housekeeping Department.
  • Leads ongoing housekeeping projectsatthe direction of Housekeeping Leadership.
  • Open respective departments,creatingboards for the day’s arrivals, andworkingwith the housekeeping coordinator to ensure the day is set up for success.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
  • Perform unit inspections after cleaning units ensuring all meet cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance standards prior to guest occupancy.
  • Respond to guest requests and complaints regarding cleanliness and maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Make all corrections as needed in lodging units to bring them to required standards.
  • Update the housekeeping boards using hotSOS to report when units are complete, up to standards and ready for guest occupancy.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Lead associate training, including follow-uptrainingas neededregardingany recorded deficiencies.
  • General cleaning tasks (making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, scrubbing floors, spotting carpets, cleaning fireplaces, vacuuming all living areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning windows and checking outside trash areas)
  • Ensure the safe keeping of Guest’s Personal Property while working within their lodging unit by always showing Integrity and Honesty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license required;
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work full time hours up to 40 hours per week.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
