Job summary

Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, WA is seeking a Housekeeping Room Inspector to conduct inspections and maximize the efforts of the department to ensure compliance with guest satisfaction, cleanliness, sanitation and productivity standards. The Room Inspector will help ensure guests enter clean, sanitary and welcoming lodging, collaborating with leadership and team members for overall success.

Salary: $21.50/hr. Position is Full Time Regular, Benefit Eligible, 30-hours/week, Year-Round.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions (verbal and written)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior housekeeping experience in rooms preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform unit inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance standards prior to guest occupancy
• Make small corrections to bring units to required standards
• Update housekeeping coordinator when units are clean and ready for guest occupancy
• Document and notify leadership of any deficiencies or engineering concerns
• Assist with associate training regarding any recorded deficiencies
• General cleaning tasks in various areas during peak occupancy days

The Room Inspector’s p osition is to ultimately ensure that guests of the Lodge and Inn at Suncadia enter a lodging unit that is clean, sanitary and welcoming. Each Inspector will play a vital housekeeping role in ensuring all guests experience the natural beauty comfort and custom hand finished details that our guest rooms offer. They will work with business/department leadership and team members to ensure the effectiveness and overall success of the department.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working all scheduled shifts ;
• Ensure the safe keeping of Guest’s Personal Property while working within their lodging unit by showing Integrity and Honesty at all times ;
• Perform unit inspections ensuring all meet cleanlin ess , sanitation and maintenance standards prior to guest occupancy .
• Make small corrections as needed in lodging units to bring them to required standards;
• Update the housekeeping coordinator when units are clean , up to standard s and ready for guest occupancy .
• Document and notify housekeeping coordinator of any engineering concerns in the units and enter into Hotsos if applicable;
• Document and notify housekeeping lea d ership of any severe cleaning deficiencies in the units ;
• Assist with associate training, including follow-up training as needed with regard to any recorded deficiencies;
• General cleaning tasks ( making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, scrubbing floors, spotting carpets, cleaning fireplaces, vacuuming all living areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning windows and checking outside trash areas ) may be assigned during peak occupancy days at the resort ;
• General cleaning tasks may be assigned in areas including: C ondos, Health and Fitness Centers, Recreational facilities , Public Spaces, Spa and freestanding homes throughout Suncadia Resort ;
• Understand and abide by all S uncadia policies, pro cedures, and safety regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
