High Hampton Inn is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the PM shift (5:00 pm - 11:00 pm) in Cashiers, NC. The role leads daily housekeeping operations, reviews reports, and ensures 5-star room standards, clean turnovers, and guest satisfaction.

Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience and skills. ESOL responsibilities include coordinating guest requests, supervising lineups, and ensuring timely, polished room make-ups with the team.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience or equivalent preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day reports for the team and be able to clarify reports, as needed.
• Hold lineups with your team covering the number of guest rooms currently occupied, arrivals, departures, turnovers, make-ups, and check-ins/turnovers.
• Coordinate in-room guest requests.
• Review groups currently in house and their agenda to ensure all needs are met.
• Inspecting common areas on a daily basis.
• Oversee completion of all room make-ups, turnovers, and turndowns; perform final inspections after rooms have been cleaned.
• Load stocker cart with daily supplies such as sheets, towels, toilet paper, amenities, glasses, coffee cups, hangers.
• Assist in cleaning check-out, stay-over, or turndown rooms as necessary to assist the team.
• Assist with quarterly inventories as necessary.
• Write and disseminate all Mid-Year and End-of-Year reviews to all team members.
• Working all holidays and weekends as scheduled.

Maintain a positive attitude around all team members, setting the mood for that shift. To inspect make-ups, turn-downs, and cleaned rooms to make sure that the standards have been met. Pay Range: $19.00–$23.00 per hour. Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other job–related factors. This Housekeeping Supervisor position is for our PM shift, 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate in‑room guest requests
• Review groups currently in house and their agenda to ensure all needs are met
• Inspecting common areas on a daily basis
• Oversee completion of all room make‑ups, turnovers, and turndowns perform final inspections after rooms have been cleaned
• Load stocker cart with daily supplies such as sheets, towels, toilet paper, amenities, glasses, coffee cups, hangers

Must Comply With All Company Policies And Procedures. To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required. Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Follow up on team member status of rooms/ assignments
• Guide housekeepers to maintain 5-star standards for all rooms
• Be a positive motivator to the team
• Coach and counsel team members as necessary, including written documentation if applicable
• Complete 45-day reviews for all new hires as well as mid, and end‑of‑year reviews, as needed
• Ensure Housekeepers understand their room assignments, and rooms are completed promptly
• Ensure efficiency by coordinating housekeeper's schedules based on needs
• Work closely with the front desk on arrivals and changes
• Basic understanding of labor numbers
• Must be available to work both AM and PM shifts

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Hospitality experience or equivalent preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent

Computer Skills

• Basic computer knowledge
• Must have a working understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Language Skills

• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members

Mathematical Skills

• Basic knowledge and understanding of math

• Must be able to understand scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and stock
