Job description

The Housekeeping Specialist cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.

  1. Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.
  2. Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
  3. Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition, and stores in appropriate storage area when finishes with shift.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Licenses: If designated to drive for the facility, must have a clean, current NM driver's license and appropriate insurance as per the facility driver's agreement.
