Job Summary

As a Housekeeping Service Manager, you will oversee the operation and customer service of the EVS/housekeeping department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain high cleanliness standards in assigned areas.
2. Participate in recruitment and staff scheduling.
3. Assign work areas and coordinate projects.
4. Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
5. Provide guidance and motivation to staff.
6. Participate in Quality Assurance programs.
7. Handle chemicals safely with appropriate safety equipment.
8. Manage equipment use, cleaning, and maintenance.
9. Ensure equipment appearance and cleanliness.
10. Assist housekeepers as needed.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. At least 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
2. Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
3. Strong work ethic, customer service focus, and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Understanding of budgeting and profit/loss concepts.
6. Proficient in MS Office applications.
7. Associate’s degree preferred; CRCST or similar certification is a plus.
